even though I clearly say, "you have reached Ann" on my answering machine people keep leaving messages for Janita, Veronica, Jessica, yo mamma… why?!! can I curse on my outgoing message or is there some censorship law against that?

This is for my office. Should it snow over the week-end, and my office will not open, I’d like to call the office answering machine to change the normal outgoing message to the inclement weather message, or holiday, or long week-end message.Is there a telephone answering machine that will do this.
I recently purchased a set of at&t cordless phones. They are 5.8ghz digital. The model # is 5872. I can not figure out how to set the answering machine for an outgoing message. I have tried for days now. The booklet that came with the phones does not reference the answering machine at all. Someone please help!!!
I’ve found lots of answering machines that have the remote listen feature, but I need to record the greeting remotely. his is for our business and in the case of inclement weather during the winter, we need to be able to record the outgoing message in case we’re closed.

I want to buy an answering machine with 3-4 lines/boxes but I want each box to have its own greeting/outgoing message. No one seems to provide this kind of machine for sale and no one knows anything about it. Which I think is amazing since this is a very simple concept. Eg.: Caller hears "For Festival information, press one, for language lesson infomration, press two, for directions, press three," and so on. Then each respective box would be able to disseminate the information the caller needs, see? Does anyone make such a machine? (I was told to buy the GE 2-9869 digital answering machine, which I did, only to find that its four boxes are only able to receive messages from the caller, not to give a greeting or information to the caller. PLEASE HELP!!
