I have been a teacher for four years and I did not find this message funny. There are so many teachers who sit behind their desks gaining weight, create a pig sty of their classrooms and get paid for doing that. If kids hate school it’s because of them. Teachers are paid to appropriately educate children. If kids don’t want to attend school, don’t do their homework because they don’t understand it, it is the teacher’s fault.
The national average for public school education in the US is $10,000/child per year. With a class size of 25 children that’s 1/4 of a Million dollars per class! I can tell you from first hand experience that very little of this money seems to trickle down to tangible benefits for the students. We are spending more tax dollars without seeing increases in scholastic achievement. It is time to unleash the forces of the free market on public education. Government has failed…. again.
I don’t understand why the USA has to be so pretentious: obviously other education models work better than ours, but nooooo too arrogant to copy someone else especially if they’re not a democratic country.
Both my parents were teachers and I think this holds so much truth. Cooperation is needed between both parents and school. Though no school system is perfect and some teachers are lame, parents need to stay involved and support education, discipline, etc. at home as well. This does an excellent job reflecting the frustrations of both sides. Well done!
There are good teachers and bad teachers, smart parents and stupid parents. You just have to appreciate this for the humor that it has because it really does apply to lots of parents.
This is meant to be funny! Lighten up! You would be suprised how many of the things listed actually have happened. I worked in public schools for 33 years, love children, and was an excellent, loved teacher. It IS FUNNY!!!
